Meet Lauren
Lauren Pratt – Occupational Therapist
Lauren is a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist who recently relocated to Aotearoa from Australia. She completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2017 on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and has since dedicated her career to supporting children and their families to thrive.
With experience across both hospital and private practice settings, Lauren has worked with a wide range of neurodivergent children and teens, including those who are autistic, ADHD, and who experience sensory processing differences, intellectual disability, global developmental delay, pathological demand avoidance, Fragile X Syndrome, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges.
Lauren is deeply committed to building strong relationships with families, empowering them with practical strategies, and creating meaningful, child-led pathways to participation, independence, and confidence. She brings warmth, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to every session.
When she’s not at work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dog, Pablo. Exploring the beautiful country that is New Zealand has quickly become one of her favourite ways to spend her time.
