Over the years along with developing experience in delivering individual client-based intervention founded within a holistic and family-based framework, Erin has also worked extensively providing peer and group-based OT, as well as equipping schools and teachers to have the knowledge and skills to support their students who experience learning differences in the classroom.

She has helped to create in school engine rooms, at-home sensory rooms, provided online parent coaching sessions and client-based telehealth sessions, and trained other Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Professionals and Educators with regards to Autism, Sensory Processing Theory, Self-Regulation, Social-Emotional Development, Social Cognition, and Communication, Trauma and Sensory Motor Development via individual consultations, online webinars and in-person training courses.

One of Erin’s key passions is also to bring her love of helping kids and learning through play and engagement into a range of environments and the greater community. She has been fortunate enough to lead groups at Camp Jabiru (Sensory Gym), has assisted in both facilitating and overseeing Camp Connect (Sensational Kids OT and Unique Kids Clinic), and is also the General Manager for Sense Rugby (New Zealand) Trust.

She is very excited to have had the opportunity to help bring Sense Rugby across the Tasman to New Zealand, and hopes to also bring camps and other community activities to children who need a little extra assistance to participate and enjoy all of the moments and opportunities that make childhood fun, meaningful and exciting!

In 2020 Erin decided to move back home to Aotearoa to be closer to her whānau and to be able to enjoy all the beauty that Aotearoa has to offer. When Erin isn’t busy juggling her two roles at N+T CTC and Sense Rugby NZ, you will find her outdoors - swimming in the ocean, walking in nature or exploring different parts of our beautiful country.
