Meet Sara

Sara Easton – Therapy Assistant 

Sara works part time as a Therapy Assistant primarily engaging with and supporting children and adolescents with their OT programs at home, school, and in the community. She takes a neuro affirming, empathetic approach to her work, grounded in relational safety and connection. She is passionate about seeing every child for their strengths, with relationship building at the heart of her practice.

Sara has lived experience raising a neurodivergent family and holds a degree in Psychology from Massey University. She has taken additional Educational Psychology postgraduate papers with a learning and research focus on improving educational outcomes for neurodivergent youth.

When she is not working, Sara enjoys Pilates, listening to podcasts, and spending time outdoors on the beach and in nature with her family.

Nurture and Thrive Children’s Therapy Collective was established by Jamie Schipper and Erin Rayner as a way to bring together Allied Health practitioners who are working towards a shared goal to improve the health and wellbeing of tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau.
