Meet Narelle

Narelle Lopdell – Occupational Therapist

"Narelle graduated with a Bachelors of Occupational Therapy from Otago Polytechnic in 2018. Since then she moved to Wellington and has been working within the Capital and Coast DHB in a range of settings, including hospital wards, a specialised neurorehabilitation unit and community rehabilitation. These settings have provided Narelle with experience in cognition, motivation and engagement. It has also provided her with the opportunity to work with culturally diverse individuals across the lifespan.

Narelle has spent most of her life in the Waikato until recently moving to the Wellington region where she has now settled to build her whānau. She is a wife and mum to one young pēpi. Narelle lives in the Otaki Gorge, and in her spare time you will likely find her in her vegetable garden, walking or running and exploring the beautiful outdoors.

Narelle is passionate about enabling and equipping those in her community to reach their full potential, and will be a wonderful support to our young people, youth and their whānau."
